1. Remember the important figures for glucose level — 1.5, 2.6, 3.3
2. Always examine the patient, look for symptomatic hypoglycaemia
3. If patient on IVD maintenance of dextrose, always check for line function
4. If require >15% dextrose, infuse via central line (PICC / UVC) and REFER TERTIARY CENTER
